How does the content creation process work? What can I expect?

Content fulfillment works in a few easy steps:
1. Completion of the onboarding documents.
2. Your Account Manager will review the onboarding documents.
3. SEO strategy and keywords researched by our SEO team.
4. We will send you a list of topics to be approved.
5. Once topics are selected, our team will be able to begin working on the blog posts.
6. The articles will be sent to you for approval as they are ready and you will either need to give it a thumbs up, resend the blog with corrections, or request for us to make some revisions.
7. Once we receive final approval, we will post the blog on the site.
8. As applicable, we will proceed to create a monthly newsletter and social posts to help promote the blog post and increase engagement.

When does the work begin on my content?

Work on content begins after the submission and verification of onboarding documents. Most times within 24 business hours of the time the service is purchased, but can take longer depending on the onboarding submission. The initial work on the account will include industry and SEO keyword research, topic selection and approval, composing the first piece(s) of content, and sending them over for approval.

You can expect the first blog to be delivered for approval within one week. Our team will choose an appropriate topic on your behalf unless you provide us with specific topics in the order form.

We ask that any custom topic be sent to our team before the end of each billing period if you desire them to be posted in the following month.

Can I choose the blog topics?

Yes! Please send your content or topics via email to your Account Manager before the end of each billing period if you desire them to be posted in the following month.

If no content or topics are provided, our talented writing team will choose an appropriate topic on your behalf.

How can I be sure these blogs will be correct in their information?

Our skilled team of content writers will thoroughly research your business and industry using your website and other reputable sources found online. Each blog will include external hyperlinks to non-competitive sources where possible.

If you have specific links or sources you would like our team to use, please share them with your Account Manager via email.

What if I need changes made to the blog content before it is posted?

Our team will send you a draft of the blog to review and approve before posting. You can provide any edits and other feedback at this time.

How does the content posting schedule work?

If a specific client is receiving multiple blogs per month (2 or more), all the blogs will be delivered for review at the same time for that month. This is due to our streamlined internal process. After the content is approved for posting, we do not have to schedule the blogs to be published at the same time though. We can schedule the blogs to be posted one week apart or at another time interval if requested.

What happens if the service is cancelled?

If the content service is cancelled, you will receive whatever is owed for that billing cycle. Work will stop being fulfilled only after the end of the billing cycle.

If for some reason there are other blog articles that were late/pending and were never sent out, you are still owed those blogs and it will be Digital Aspect's duty to make sure you receive everything that is owed for those months of active service.

Can changes be made to a blog article after it's posted?

Yes. After the content team publishes a blog on your website, that ends the involvement of the content team for that specific post.

If later on you would like to make any changes to that blog, that responsibility would fall on your monthly Managed Website Hosting plan - the website maintenance team.

If the extent of the revision requested falls outside of the monthly hosting scope (30 minutes per month), we can provide you with a quote for the work to be done - but usually minor content updates fall well within our standard hosting plans.

What if I am not satisfied with the content?

If you are not satisfied with a piece of content that has been provided to you by the Digital Aspect content team, you can request one rewrite for that specific topic.

Do you provide stock images?

Yes! Every blog includes one stock image that is used as the feature image for your site. If you would like us to use your own photos, please provide them to your Account Coordinator in advance.

Are the blog posts formatted properly for SEO purposes?
